Beginning his venture in the fashion industry at a young age of 15, Marios Schwab began his training in Austria at the Annahof school. Embarking on a four year course in classical tailoring and technical construction of garments, these skills turned out to be the cornerstone of the Marios Schwab brand aesthetic. Going on to attend Berlin's ESMOD and London's prestigious Central Saint Martins the designer completed his MA in women’s wear. Debuting his collection for the first time, independently, at SS 2007 LFW, Marios Schwab's dresses and RTW separates received great critical acclaim, among multiple awards. May of 2009 brought on a new role as Creative Director of the iconic American label Halston in what Vogue described as a "match made in heaven". His cutting-edge design aesthetic and respect for traditional craftsmanship have allowed the designer to experiment and explore different themes of period costume, lingerie and Schwab's Austrian upbringing.
